but the thrill of something new does excite me.

beautiful girls and boys painted and perfect, ready for the world.
the toymaker stood back and was amazed at what he had created, his lifes work and he smiled at his accomplishments.
"my beautiful ones" he spoke in a tone no higher than a whisper and the children never heard, they only saw him sigh and wipe a tear from his eye, overcome with emotion.
they stood in a row beautiful boys and girls painted and perfect, ready for the world.
the shop opened and people flooded in, it was the first day of the toymakers
